We’re thrilled to have you here and want to make sure your dress hire experience is as fabulous as you are. Before you dive into our collection, let’s chat about some important details that will help us keep everything running smoothly.

By renting a dress from Lil’s Rentals, you agree to the following:

Handle with Care: Please return the dress in the same great condition you received it.

Stick to the Schedule: Late returns will incur a $10 per day fee, so please plan accordingly.

Four-Day Rentals: Our standard rental period is four days, unless otherwise arranged in advance <3

Payment and Fees

Secure Your Booking: Rental fees are required at the time of booking to reserve your dress.

Refundable Security Bond: A security bond is needed but will be fully refunded once the dress is returned in its original condition.

Return on Time: Late returns incur a $10 per day fee, so please plan your return accordingly.

Damages: If the dress is damaged, repair or replacement costs may apply. We’ll discuss the details with you if needed.

Set Prices: Our prices are fixed and non-negotiable.

Payment Methods: We accept both bank transfers and cash. Please ensure your payment is made promptly to confirm your booking.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change. Here’s how we handle cancellations:

Cancellations 7 Days or More Before Your Event:
You’ll receive a store credit for the full hire amount, valid for 12 months from the date of issue.

Cancellations Within 7 Days of Your Event:
Unfortunately, the hire price is non-refundable.

To request a cancellation, please reach out to us via email at hello@lilsrentals.com or send a message on Instagram at @lilsrentals, and include your booking details to make the process as seamless as possible.

Use of the Items

Handle with Care: Please return the dress in the same condition it was provided—no alterations, stains, or excessive wear.

Responsible Use: The dress is for your event, so avoid activities that could cause damage or involve unlawful behavior.

For Special Occasions Only: Use the dress as intended and avoid activities that might lead to damage beyond normal wear and tear.

Repairs and Charges: If the dress is damaged beyond normal wear and tear, additional charges may apply. Please don’t attempt to repair the dress yourself—let us handle it to ensure proper care.

Delivery

Express Delivery:

$15 for one-way shipping Australia-wide.

$30 for round-trip shipping, including a return satchel for your convenience.

Melbourne Drop-Offs:
Local drop-offs are available for an additional fee. Contact us to discuss the details.

Last-Minute Bookings:
For bookings made within a week of your event, if the dress doesn’t arrive on time, we’ll issue a store credit. Refunds won’t be available for last-minute delays.

Uncontrollable Events:
While we’ll do everything we can to ensure smooth delivery, we can’t be held responsible for delays caused by unforeseen events such as natural disasters or postal disruptions.

Address Accuracy:
Please double-check your shipping details when booking. If the dress is sent to the wrong address, we won’t be able to offer a refund. Additional fees may apply to retrieve and redirect the dress.

Return Policy

On-Time Returns:
Dresses must be returned by 5 pm on the agreed return date. Please use the provided garment bag for safe handling.

Express Postage:
You can return the dress by post using the prepaid return labels provided when arranged at the time of booking. If you need to organize a last-minute return, just send us a message, and we’ll share the return address with you <3

Postage Timing:
If your return falls over the weekend, ensure it’s sent out by Monday. Returns sent on Tuesday will incur a late fee.

Garment Care:
Please don’t attempt to wash the dress. If any damage occurs, notify us before returning it, as this may affect future bookings.

Inspection on Arrival:
Check the dress upon arrival and report any issues within 24 hours.

Extended Rentals:
Need more time? Let us know as soon as possible. Unauthorised extensions will incur a $20 per day fee.

Cleaning Policy:
Standard cleaning is included in the hire price. However, if the dress requires additional care upon return, additional charges may apply.

Lost or Stolen Dresses:
If the dress is lost or stolen while in your care, you will be responsible for the full replacement cost.

Non-Transferability

For Your Use Only: The dress is exclusively for the person who rented it—please no sharing or lending it out.

Try-On Services

Perfect Fit: Our dresses are available in sizes 6 to 12, ensuring something for everyone.

Try-Ons: Book a try-on session at our home studio for just $5. This fee will be deducted from the hire price if you decide to book the dress.

How to Book: You can book your appointment through our ‘Book a Try-On’ page on our website or via the ‘Book Now’ feature on our Instagram page.

Confirm Availability: Let us know your favorite pieces beforehand, or explore what’s available when you arrive. To ensure your selected garment is available, please message us ahead of your appointment.

Handle with Care: Remove any jewelry and avoid activities that could snag or damage the dress. Any damage during the try-on may result in cleaning or repair fees.

Photography and Social Media

Feel free to post your fabulous photos and make sure to tag us! We’d love to feature you on our page (with your permission, of course). Plus, when you tag us in your Instagram post, you’ll receive 10% off your next hire!

Limitation of Liability

Lil’s Rentals is not responsible for any injuries or damages that occur while wearing the rented dress.


Fit and Sizing Disclaimer

Your Perfect Fit: We provide detailed sizing, but the final choice is yours. No refunds for fit issues—store credit or exchanges only.


Allergy Disclaimer

If you’ve got fabric allergies, let us know. We can’t be responsible for allergic reactions.


Photo Evidence of Condition

Lil’s Rentals will take photos of each dress before it is sent out. Customers are encouraged to take their own photos upon receiving the dress and upon returning it. It helps with any potential disputes!


Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy, your personal information is safe with us!

Changes to Terms and Conditions

Lil’s Rentals reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our page
